Heath Barrowcliff Consulting is a fully independent consultancy that specialises in providing primarily pharmaceutical organisations with pragmatic solutions and training in relation to (among others) information governance; digital transformation; technology implementation, decommissioning, and retirement e.g. eTMF, eQMS, LIMS; data migration; good documentation and data practice; data integrity; digital preservation; and quality assurance.

Heath Barrowcliff Consulting draws on an extensive breadth of expertise, wide-ranging sector experience, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors to help clients ensure regulatory compliance, improve inspection readiness, and maximise the value of their information and supporting technologies.

Using its network of independent associates who are experienced practitioners and subject matter experts (including distinguished professionals and recognised thought leaders), Heath Barrowcliff Consulting offers scalability to cover a broad spectrum of clients.

Heath Barrowcliff Consulting works collaboratively with clients to deliver pragmatic, durable, user-friendly, and cost-effective solutions designed to reflect the clients specific needs to resolve records management and information governance challenges, and to introduce operational and financial efficiencies that enable them to meet their strategic objectives whilst also ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Heath Barrowcliff Consulting served on the Executive Board of the Health Sciences Records and Archives Association (until April 2023) and was an active Steering Committee Member of the TMF Reference Model (until March 2022 ), meaning the business is well-placed to meet its clients’ highest expectations and provide advice based on latest industry best practice, trends, and developments.

Under the auspices of the TMF Reference Model, Heath Barrowcliff Consulting lead a project with a dedicated team of experts to develop the Real World Evidence Study Master File Index. Until it merged with HSRAA in 2014, Heath Barrowcliff Consulting was also an Executive Committee Member of the Good Clinical Records Management Association.

Heath Barrowcliff Consulting has [co-]authored numerous sector-specific publications and delivered training and workshops and conference presentations for (among others) the Health Sciences Records and Archives Association, the Drug Information Association, Marcus Evans, IQPC, the Institute of Clinical Research, the NHS R&D Forum, and the Pharmaceutical Quality Group.
