Russell Joyce

Director and Principal Consultant

Russell has over 20 years experience in document, records, archive, and information management across a wide variety of sectors including pharmaceuticals (in which he now specialises), the legal sector, banking, professional services, and central and local government.

He has keen interests and experience in implementing information management technologies to optimise processes, to encourage good scientific practice, to improve research and data integrity, to generate business efficiencies, and to better ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Russell is Director of the HEALTH SCIENCES RECORDS & ARCHIVES ASSOCIATION, a serving member of the TMF REFERENCE MODEL Steering Committee (co-ordinating the development of the Non-Interventional “Real World” Studies Reference Model), and was also an Executive Committee Member of the Good Clinical Records Management Association until it merged with HSRAA in 2014. Russell is a seasoned speaker and trainer having presented workshops and presentations for HSRAA, the Drug Information Association, Marcus Evans, IQPC, the Institute of Clinical Research, the NHS R&D Forum, and the Pharmaceutical Quality Group.

Russell’s leisure interests include music, European fin-de-siècle literature, carpentry, cycling and hiking. He takes great pleasure playing EEb tuba for the nationally renowned and award winning MAIDSTONE WIND SYMPHONY, for whom he is also Chairman and Concerts Manager. He served as Governor and Chairman of the Parents Association at his daughters’ former grammar school.

Sarah Curno

Associate Consultant (Clinical Trial Master File Specialist)

Sarah Curno is a Clinical Trial Master File (TMF) Specialist with a wealth of first-hand experience in TMF processes, including quality control. An experienced and dedicated contract clinical trial expert, Sarah has more than 30 years’ experience working in GCP clinical trials for both contract research organisations and sponsor pharmaceutical companies, specifically in the area of TMF management including planning, maintenance, quality control, oversight and close-out.

Sarah has a strong professional background with a Certificate in Management Studies, is the Director of HEDIAN RECORDS MANAGEMENT, a member and former Committee Member of the HEALTH SCIENCES RECORDS & ARCHIVES ASSOCIATION, and member of the TMF REFERENCE MODEL.

Stephen Howard

“Poacher-turned-gamekeeper”, Stephen has been employed in the commercial records storage industry for over 26 years at senior management and director levels in the USA and the UK working for some of the largest companies in the world frequently managing accounts in which the contractual value runs into £millions.

Stephen has in-depth, first-hand experience of Sales, Accounts and Operations Management in commercial records storage and has experience of establishing new commercial records storage businesses. Stephen is also fully experienced in overseeing move projects involving thousands of boxes and files.

Fully conversant with current technology and standards within the industry, as well as “tricks of the trade”, Stephen is expertly qualified to secure the delivery of cost effective commercial storage contract solutions for our clients and ensure that fair terms and conditions apply to them.
